I am registered with the National Register of Personal Trainers.
I am fully insured and qualified in first aid.. I possess a personal training qualification from the internationally recognized YMCAFit teaching institution. YMCAFit is a widely recognised in the health and fitness industry.
Q I find gyms intimidating?
As a personal trainer I will assess your likes/dislikes and work with you to produce a personalised programme that suits your needs. Sessions can take place outdoors or at your of your home.
Q How many times a week do I need to train?
Everyone has different needs and aims so it very much depends on the individual. As a personal trainer I will work with my client to assess and agree the number of sessions during the FREE consultation.
Q I know that exercise is good for me but I do not enjoy it and find it difficult to keep myself motivated?
As a personal trainer , I will put together a personalised programme where the sessions are fun, varied and produce results. Everyone has different attitudes to exercise and motivational levels. That is why I offer a telephone counselling service. As your personal trainer I will phone you up during the week to see how you are getting on with your programme and if you have any difficulties I will try and work them through with you. This service also works the other way round , so if you are having a hard time motivating yourself and can call me up for help.
Q I would like to train with my partner to make the sessions more fun. Can you train 2 people in one session?
As a personal trainer I offer one to one training, but I am happy to accommodate couples or paired training
Q I have just got a place to run the London marathon. Do you design sessions that can get me ready to compete in?
As a personal trainer I can design a fitness programme to suit any sport. Whether you are competing in an endurance event like the London marathon, or play recreational tennis and want to improve your general fitness , or want to how building upper body strength can improve your golf swing , I can design a programme to help you.
